ABOUT ME
Corinna Diener
WHY I AM RUNNING
I am running for the Evergreen Elementary School Board because I have a deep and lasting passion for our students, our staff, and this community. I've been a parent in this district as well as, spent my career here — most recently as a school secretary — and I've seen firsthand how decisions made at the district level ripple through every classroom and every family.
That experience is why I believe so strongly that change is needed now. I am coming out of retirement because I can't watch from the sidelines while our schools face challenges that demand real accountability.
BUDGET TRANSPARENCY
Budget transparency is at the heart of my campaign. Families and staff deserve to understand how our district's resources are being spent, and to trust that funds are being directed toward classrooms and students first — not layers of administration. I will push for clear, accessible reporting on the budget so our community can hold the district accountable and ensure every dollar serves the children we're here for.
This campaign is about more than one issue — it's about restoring trust between our district and the community it serves. I'm asking for your support as we work together to bring the transparency, integrity, and student-first leadership our schools deserve.
EVERYONE AT THE TABLE
Teachers, support staff, families, and students all have valuable perspectives, and too often those voices go unheard in the decisions that affect them most. If elected, I will work to ensure that staff and community input is genuinely sought out — not just permitted — before major decisions are made, so that the people closest to our schools have real influence over their direction.

My mission as a school board trustee is to restore transparency, accountability, and trust in our district — for every student, every educator, and every family. My goal is simple: put students first, open the doors of accountability, and lead with the integrity our community deserves.
